To celebrate our anniversary, Kate and I took a quick camping trip to Lake Louisa State Park. It was nice to get away from the gadgets and goings on for a day. The park itself was pretty nice, but looked like it had burned several years ago and hasn't completely grown back yet. Hence, there were not any shady trees in the campsites. The facilities were very nice and clean though.
In an attempt to make camping slightly more romantic, I snuck along a 1/2 dozen roses, a couple plates from the dinner set, and a couple of wine glasses. Also a table cloth and napkins. It was remotely like having a fancy diner of frozen stew at camp site. Go figure....
