OK, this is cool. Fay has been the oddest storm I've ever seen, and this has to be the strangest thing of all: A MANATEE right along Hall Road. This is on the drive in and out of our neighborhood. Literally no more that 5 or 6 feet from the road surface. Of course, where he was feeding is normally solid ground. 24 hours later, the water was still touching the edge of the asphalt. I'm mildly concerned that he might get stuck back in there as the water recedes....
